Pepper chicken, one of the simple and easy chicken preparation.It is a spicy and delicious chicken recepie cooked and roasted with pepper and spices.

Serves:4 to 5


  • Chicken pieces-1/2 kg
  • Onions- 2 large finely sliced
  • Capsicum/green bell pepper- 2 large finely sliced
  • garlic- finely chopped – 1 tbsp
  • soya sauce-1 tbsp
  • pepper powder-1 tbsp
  • salt-for taste
  • red chilli powder-1 tsp
  • turmeric powder-1/4 tsp
  • oil-for deep frying.

How to prepare:

  • Marinate chicken pieces with pepper powder,chilli powder,turmeric powder and salt for half an hour.
  • After 1/2 hour deep fry the chicken pieces,drain and keep it in absorbent paper.
  • Heat little oil in a wok,add garlic and saute for few seconds.
  • Add finely sliced onions and bell pepper.Do not saute it too much.
  • Add salt and pepper powder and little soya sauce and mix ell.
  • To this add the fried chicken pieces and mix well.
  • Can be served with chappatis or rice as side dish.
