MUTTON

INGREDIENTS:

*Mutton- 1/2 kg

*Onions- 2 finely diced

*Tomatoes- 1 finely chopped

*Ginger , garlic- minced

*Green chillies- 2 vertically slit

*Bay leaf -1

*cinamon stick- 1 small

*Red chilli powder- 2 tsp

*Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp

*coriander powder-2 tsp

*pepper powder-2 tsp

*garam masala-1 tbsp

*lime juice- 1 tsp

*coriander leaves- for garnishing

METHOD:

*Heat oil in a vessel.Add bay leaves and cinamon stick. Add minced ginger and garlic and green chillies.Saute little.

*Add onions and saute until it becomes translucent.Add salt and turmeric powder, tomatoes and add mutton pieces and little water and close and cook for sometime.

*In a separate pan dry roat red chilli powder coriander powder and garam masala.

*Add this roasted masala to mutton and add pepper powder and mix well.

*When mutton is cooked add lime juice and garnish with coriander leaves.
